Cohesive Bandages

 Cohesive bandages are versatile, easy to use, and gentle on the affected area. They stick to themselves, not to your body, hair or other materials. 

They have a variety of uses including but not limited to:

  • supporting injured joints
  • holding ice and heat packs in place
  • protecting dressings
  • protecting fingers, ears, hands and wrists
  • holding up socks in sports
  • keeping poultices in place for livestock 

If you use a lot of bandages, check out our other bulk bandage packs which are also a cost-effective way to purchase. Please note, we can only supply the bulk packs in a single color and size.

Burn Treatment

  The type of burn treatment you use depends a lot on the type of burn or scald you are treating. Burns can happen in an instant, and you never know if or when it may occur. For this reason we recommend keeping some basic items in your first aid kit that can be used for a variety of burns. It is also really important that first aid is applied as soon as possible to any burns or scalds as this will help to limit the amount of damage that occurs to the skin. Duty to Provide First Aid

Whether we like it or not, as employers, we have a duty to provide first aid facilities for our workplaces. This is outlined under Section 13 of the Health and Safety at Work (General Risk and Workplace Management) Regulations 2016 . In essence we need to ensure our workers have access to first aid facilities. The legislation isn't very prescriptive about what should be included but they very clearly state we need to take into account "relevant matters". So what does this mean?
